What are the advantages of aluminum heating plates compared to heating plates made of other materials?

1. Good thermal conductivity and uniform heating
The thermal conductivity of aluminum is as high as 205 W/(m·K), far exceeding that of stainless steel and silicone. Aluminum heating plates can quickly transfer heat and achieve uniform surface temperature distribution, and the temperature difference can be controlled within ±3℃. This feature is suitable for scenes that require precise temperature control, such as plastic molding and food processing. The low heat capacity of aluminum makes its heating rate faster.

2. Lightweight and high strength
The density of aluminum alloy is only 2.7 g/cm³, which is 1/3 of that of stainless steel. Through alloying, it can achieve a tensile strength of ≥275 MPa, meeting the dual requirements of lightweight and strength in aerospace, automobile manufacturing and other fields. The weight of aluminum heating plates with the same power is 60% less than that of stainless steel heating plates, and the impact resistance is better than that of silicone heating plates. Aluminum heating plates can be made into complex shapes by die casting or machining, which are suitable for injection molding machine dies, pipeline heating and other scenes.

3. Corrosion resistance and multi-scenario adaptation
The dense oxide film (Al₂O₃) formed on the aluminum surface can resist acid, alkali and salt spray corrosion, and its service life can reach more than 10 years in chemical and marine environments, while ordinary stainless steel is prone to corrosion in chlorine-containing environments. The working temperature of the cast aluminum heating plate can reach 450℃, and it still maintains shape stability at high temperatures; while the silicone heating plate is only resistant to 200℃ and is prone to aging and cracking after long-term use.
